2/16 Wednesday Afternoon

This afternoon Jimmy has continued to do well!

He is still off the paralytic. Further, the ECMO machine has been turned down a slight bit, and his body has responded positively. His blood oxygen has increased a small amount to 57. When they suctioned his lungs today, not much came out... what did was clear... this is good.

This means the positive trend continues. Slight improvements are just fine as long as the trend continues upward. The power of your thoughts and prayers are making a difference.

Bless you all.

  3. Have been praying for Jim and your entire family. We miss seeing Jim drive by the house and beep at us. Glad things are improving and pray that they will continue to head in that direction. Please let us know if we can do anything- take care of the cat or anything. Nothing is too big or too small. Just ask. You are not in this alone. John, Lori, Mikaela and Kelby Schramm

  16. So good to hear Jimmy's condition is improving. Thrilled to see that your dad received good reports!!! Can't imagine how overwhelming the situation must be for your family. Hang in there. We're pulling for you. (Your command of the medical lingo is quite impressive, DBT!) Having involved family members there, asking questions and being informed is invaluable. L3&RJL
