2/15 Tuesday Evening

James continues to be off the paralytic. He has had some up's and down's today, but the overall report is positive progress.

His blood pressure did go down which required them to use some meds to stabilize it to an acceptable level. The dialysis is running and doing it's job. His oxygen levels remain acceptable

They have been periodically using suction in his mouth to keep it clear for the ventilator. Today when they were getting a lot of suction fluid, they decided to also suction his lungs. When they inserted the tube, he opened his eyes and moved his arms. He did not follow any commands... so it is believed to have been a natural reaction of his body from feeling uncomfortable with what they were doing. As a result his pain meds were increased to make sure he is comfortable. He is not awake or truly aware of what is happening.

Please keep Jimmy in your thoughts and prayers.
