2/15 Tuesday Morning

James was stable through the night. The good news is his blood oxygen level his increased to 71 which is the best it has been while hospitalized. As a result they are only running the ventilator at 50% although the ECMO machine is at full capacity. Today they have taken him off the paralytic to see how his body reacts. This did not go well before, but we are hoping for better results this time. He will remain fully sedated and on pain medication. His kidney functions are at acceptable levels, but they may be giving him some bedside dialysis starting later today.

All good news this morning!

The number of people who care about my brother and are watching this blog is amazing. My family thanks you all for your kindness and concern. Your comments, thoughts and prayers have been uplifting.

Thank You & God Bless
