James has done well over night.
The doctor has been in. Since things were going well, they tested turning the ECMO machine down. When they did his blood pressure lowered some but overall his body responded positively. This is good news and could indicate he will be weaned from it within a few days. That will be a very good sign of progress when that happens.
His oxygen levels are good, kidneys are functioning well and his nutrition is improving. Jimmy's chest X-rays are looking better as well. The dialysis machine is removing a material amount of fluid from his blood, which is also very positive. He continues to be on a ventilator and is sedated.
The report this morning is quite positive and welcomed by us all. Pleas keep rooting, thinking and praying for Jimmy.
