James continues to do well.
His vital signs are all stable. This morning he has responded to more commands from the nurse, and given her a "thumbs up" sign. He is prepared to go to the OR for the tracheostomy as soon as one becomes available.
Although he is not completely awake/aware, it is a very good sign that he is following some commands an has been able to move his toes and arms.
The trend upward continues. Please keep James in your thoughts and prayers.
