More encouragement this afternoon from OSU Medical Center.
James has a blood oxygen level of 89, with a saturation of 97% currently. That is the best it has been while hospitalized.
The doctor is now saying they will probably remove the ECMO machine tomorrow, and do the tracheotomy later this week, or early next week.
Jimmy's lab work now says he no longer has H1N1 and the infection in his blood is gone.
All great, positive news!
Thank you all for the continued thoughts and prayers for James.
