James is stable and resting this evening.
Removal from the ventilator and use of the trach mask did not go as well as hoped. Therefore, James was placed back on the ventilator. The vent is providing oxygen, but is set to have James do the breathing. So he is breathing on his own, but getting extra oxygen from the ventilator.
He still has a mild fever which is being managed by medication. He has coughed a lot which has made him throw up a couple of times today.
Overall James has been improving some each day this past week... some days more than others. Just like Jimmy, we're all in this to win, no matter how long it takes... So stick with us and keep those positive thoughts and prayers coming.
Don't get discouraged. Just wondering if the cultures were blood or sputum?

I think we all knew there would be good & bad days in Jimmy's recovery. This is a slight bump in the road and these things happen. We will continue to pray for Jimmy and his fantastic family. This has affected a lot of different people and Jimmy is blessed to have this strong support system. God bless everyone who a part of it. John & Millie
