This afternoon James made a surprise visit to Kroger in Marietta. He received a warm reception from his co-workers and friends. They even gave him a Welcome Home cake. James was very happy to visit with everyone. After a walk back towards dairy, he started getting tired and decided it was time to sit down for a few minutes in the pharmacy.
This week the Kroger Corporate office sent James a 35 Year Service Award! What a great week to have this recognition arrive.
James called and had a good conversation this evening with his friend, JR. JR is still doing rehab at Dodd Hall at OSU Medical Center. We were all pleased to hear that JR walked 150 feet today! That is great news, as he continues to progress towards recovery.
JR is working hard to get rehabilitated and is planning a visit and fishing trip to Marietta in May. With Jimmy's 35 year service award comes a gift selection from a number of choices, that Kroger will send him. Jimmy was excited to see that one option is a fishing rod, reel and tackle box. He decided that is what he would request, so he would be ready for JR's fishing visit!
James has a great attitude and is so greatful and thankful for everyone's prayers and support.
James, it is absolutely wonderful to see these pictures of you and to hear of your tremendous progress! We are so glad you have made it back to all of us......take care and best wishes toward your continues success!
